I've given myself 30 minutes to write this.
I'm currently writing a script for an animation that I'm working on.
However, there are 'tons of questions that I think are stopping me from just
working on it. I don't know what the actions of the scene are going to look like.
Therefore, I procrastinate on writing. I did some exploration by collecting some
pictures on Pinterest, but I'm still uncertain.
I guess I'm not happy with the script. It is the first version of the script after all.
I decided to add constraints such as giving myself only 30 minutes to figure out the middle of the story and a limited amount of space.
The result was okay. I still want to make it believable. I wonder if it's because I'm thinking that this is going to be a huge project.
Therefore, there are too much resistance and hesitations.
I was also wondering if I want to make a 2D animation or a 3D.
Maybe add some 2D aspect into my short film? Sure why not?
There is also the fact that I'm a private person on the internet as much as I can.
I'm having technical difficulties to signup to a website called Linode so that
I can make a Nextcloud account, an alternative to using Google Drive and other
Google stuff.
I don't know what to prioritize, I guess. How about, once again, giving myself constraint.
Give me a limited of time to work on my animation. It seems like a big thing to do.
No problem I'll cut it down into small pieces. I'll schedule when something has to be done.
Writing the Script:
* Give a date limit to complete my first draft, the second, third, etc
* Add constraints to the writing: not adding more than two characters, since I'm the only one making the film
*
Storyboarding:
* Limiting the number of shots, that is going to be an interesting one.
* Only paint in black and white
* Time limit, obviously
Visual Development:
* Don't add too many buildings, I guess
*
I think you get the point. By adding constraints I'll be more playful with my work.
